1. Returns

You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, the product must:

Be unused and in its original packaging

Be in the same condition as when you received it

Have a valid proof of purchase (order ID or invoice)

2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:

Personal care or hygiene products (e.g., skincare, cosmetics, undergarments)

Customized or personalized items

Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
3. Return Process
To initiate a return:

Contact us through the Contact Us page on GenericMart.

Provide your order ID and reason for return.

We’ll guide you through the return process. If eligible, we’ll arrange a return pickup or provide a return address (in case self-shipping is required).
Note: Return pickup is available in select areas.
4. Refunds

Once we receive your returned product, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return conditions.

If your return is approved, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method or as store credit based on your preference.
For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Refunds will be processed via bank transfer or UPI.
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund after the processing period:

Check your bank account or UPI for the refund.

Contact your payment provider as it may take some time for the refund to reflect.

6. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective product:

Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Share photos/videos of the damaged or defective product.

We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost.
7. Exchange Policy
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you want to exchange a product, you will need to return the original item and place a new order.
